Frog and Toad Room

These classroom serves ages 1.5 years to 3 years. These rooms are an important transition which helps your child move from infant to active toddler. This room includes a potty-training bathroom so that our staff can help your child to achieve full potty-training status. All toddler teachers will create a “Emergent curriculum” that incorporates gross motor, social, emotional, physical and cognitive growth and development. We will also explore art, sensory, music, literacy and other special activities that are developmentally appropriate with your toddler.
 
Toddler parents are responsible for providing:

• Diapers, wipes and rash cream
• At least two complete extra change of clothing
• Appropriate outerwear for outdoor play (snow gear is a must for the winter and water wear for the summer are needed).
• Rest sheets for nap-standard crib size and blanket for 12 months and up.
• Bibs
• Breakfast, lunch and an afternoon snack (nut free).
